Actually it's really is beautiful. Ice diver is a specialty for those divers who don't want old man winter to slow them down.

Divers will learn the techniques to safely plan and execute a dive beneath the ice. It is recommended that you have both enriched air and drysuit specialties for this course. Divers will need to have ice picks and 10 ft of rope or body harness and carabineers. All equipment must be suitable for the rigors of the ice diving environment. 3 dives are required for certification.

Prerequisites: Minimum Age 18 years, Advanced Open Water Certificate, or equivalent, open water equipment, and 2 ice picks, 10 ft of rope or body harness and carabineers.

Course fees do not include charter boat, park access fees, equipment rentals or sales.
